
Dr Terry Arnesen
Dr. Jon Engstrom was born in Esko, MN. At 3 years of age Jon decided he wanted to be a veterinarian. Much of his early childhood was spent at the side of his uncle, who was a veterinarian. Jon was also involved in every aspect of his family's horse operation. The family showed in western, english & gaming events at open and WSCA shows.
Terry graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1983. From there he entered an internship at Chino Valley Equine Clinic with Dr Bob Baker. Dr Baker was a pioneer in equine surgery in southern California. In 1985 Terry came back to the Stillwater Vetrinary Clinic to work with Dr Vic Meyer.
At the clinic Dr Arnesen specialies in surgery. While away from the clinic he enjoys a variety of outdoor sports including; half marathons and trialthalons.
Dr Jon Engstrom
Jon's current medical equine interests are with lameness and sport horse/working horse medicine.
Dr Ann Bower
Ann received her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992 and joined the staff at Stillwater Vet Clinic shortly there after.
Her involvement with horses began 30 years ago when she started taking English riding lessons. Over the years IAnn has exercised race horses, played polo, showed dressage horses, hunters and jumpers before focusing primarily on eventing.
Her husband, John Weber and their children Emelia, and Andrew, reside in Hugo where they operate Carriage House Farm a boarding, training & horse show facility.
Ann feels her varied background experience helps her relate to her unique clients. She finds the performance horses from varying disciplines challenging and exciting to work with. Ann really enjoys interacting with people and their horses.
Dr. Brian Dahms grew up in southwestern Minnesota where he enjoyed riding game horses and team roping. He attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated in 2001. While in vet school he spent three years working for the equine reproduction group where he received additional training in specialized reproduction. After graduation he attended Options for Animals in Hillsdale Illinois where he completed their course in animal chiropractic. He and his wife Missy currently live in Stillwater where their horse interests involve barrel racing.
Brian has a strong interest in specialized reproduction and equine chiropractic.
Dr. Toby Sheely
Toby grew up in Santa Clara, CA (northern California). He spent 6 years on active duty with the Marine Corp. During those years he served in Tennessee, southern California, Samalia and Hawaii. He and his wife, Susan, then moved to Minnesota so he could attend vet school. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2004. He currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife and two boys.
Toby completed the equine acupuncture course at the Chi institute.
