Jen
Jen started with Stillwater Equine in May of 2000. She enjoys running, weight lifting, and riding horses. She competes in 3-day Eventing with her thoroughbred Corcovado. Jen is also an avid Greenbay Paker fan. She and her husband Mike live in Wisconsin and have two wonderful Labradors, Butkus and Payton.
Jen loves her job and looks forward to each and every day with the doctors, staff, clients, and patients.
Kim
I have worked at the clinic since 2001. My involvement with horses began when I was in the eighth grade and after years of begging received a Welsh pony for graduation.
My husband Mark and our grown children have a hobby farm in Grant where we board horses and enjoy trail riding and barrel racing. We also have a collection of dogs, cats, a dove, and two miniature horses.
I enjoy the clients at the clinic and working with the horses and staff.
Missy Missy has been showing and competing with horses since she was 8 years old. She currently enjoys showing in the hunter/jumper classes. In 1998, Jane joined the Stillwater Staff. She was certified by the NVSL in 2005 to conduct EIA (Coggins) testing. Jane lives in Somerset, WI with her husband, Bill and her Holstein cat, Yentl, (she has a yarmulka). Jane enjoys hunting, gathering, fishing and gardening. Kim Kim has two paint horses named Six and Shuddaben with which she competes in WSCA games and trail rides. She also has a dachshund named Winston.
Janice
Janice has been with the clinic since 2004. She has had horses and a variety of animals all of her life. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1997. She enjoys trail riding and visiting the Black Hills of South Dakota every chance she gets. Janice and her husband have lived in the area since 1995.
Technical Staff:
Missy joined the Stillwater staff in 2005. She and her husband Brent live in Lino Lakes. They have 2 dogs; Hemi and Kringer, and 2 cats; Ruger and Fiona.
Jane
Jane Byrne grew up on a dairy farm near Hillsboro, WI. She obtained her AAS in Animal Health Technology at the U of MN-TC-Waseca in 1980 and was certified as a Veterinary Technician in WI later that year. Jane worked for the River Falls Veterinary Hospital for 5 years before joining the large animal surgery staff at the U of MN Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Over the next 13 years, Jane's jobs ranged from junior scientist to Anesthesia Specialist.
Kim has worked at the clinic since 2004. In her free time she enjoys creating different flavors of cheesecakes and riding at WSCA game events. She appeases her bling fetish by working at a local jewelry store.
Kyle
Kyle started at the clinic in 2003. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and of the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing. Outside of the clinic he runs his own farrier service and enjoys waterskiing, rock climbing, fishing and hunting with his golden retriever Ralph.
